I thought I should write some kind of introductory post.

Not many people have the same fascination with Nineteenth-Century fiction, comic books, poker and rave music that I do, so expect this blog to be pretty self-indulgent.  I had a quick look at some of the other blogs on WordpPress, though, and self-indulgence seems to be a running theme.
